Ford various models EECv & EEC IV ECU’s
Failure symptoms:
These ECU suffer from a large range of problems from misfires & hessitations to complete non starting.
Cause:
Problems are usually cause by poor quality components used by the manufacturer to drive components such as ignition coils and injectors, the problems can also be caused by the components usualy the ignition coil break down.
Solution:
We can rebuild customers own units and supply replacement ECU’s form stock, we will advise if we believe there to be a problem with a component that requires replacing during the testing of your ECU.

Ford Mondeo 2.0
Failure symptoms:
unstable idle speed and a jerking accelleration from pulling away.
Cause:
this is usualy caused by a split T-piecs for the EGR valve, this is located under the ignition coil pack.
Solution:
This t-piece can be replaced with a new T-piece from Ford main dealer for around £9.00
